Description
A fun and practical craft project that encourages creativity and sustainability by making a pencil holder from recycled materials.
Materials
- Recycled container (toilet paper tube, plastic bottle, etc.)
- Colored paper or craft supplies (scrapbooking paper, stickers, old magazines)
- Glue (strong craft glue or hot glue gun)
- Scissors
- Markers or paint (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Container: Start with your clean, recycled container. If using a plastic bottle, cut it down to a suitable height if it’s too tall.
- Decorate the Surface: Choose your colored paper or craft supplies. Cut strips or shapes and use glue to adhere them to the outside of your container.
- Add Personal Touches: Use markers or paint to add details, or paste on stickers for a creative design.
- Let It Dry: If you’ve used glue or paint, let your pencil holder dry fully.
- Fill It Up: Once dry, fill your recycled pencil holder with pencils, pens, or other small items.
Notes
Use double-sided tape for easier sticking and supervise young children when using scissors.
