A creative craft project for kids to make personalized Rainbow Acorn characters that celebrate friendship and diversity.
Materials
- Acorns (natural or craft)
- Paint (colors of your choice)
- Paintbrushes
- Small colored paper or felt
- Glue
- Scissors
- Markers
- Googly eyes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your acorns by cleaning them if they are natural.
- Paint the acorns in a variety of colors.
- Attach eyes using googly eyes or cutouts from paper.
- Create the character’s body with colored paper or felt.
- Assemble your characters by gluing body parts to your painted acorn.
Notes
Allow plenty of time for the paint to dry before handling the characters. Supervision is recommended for younger children during cutting and gluing.
