A delightful and simple paper plate apple craft that allows children to express their creativity while learning about nature.
Materials
- Paper plates
- Red and green paint (or crayons/markers)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Brown construction paper
- Optional: googly eyes, glitter, stickers for decoration
Instructions
- Color the plate with red paint to resemble an apple and let it dry completely.
- Cut a leaf shape from the green construction paper.
- Make the stem by cutting a small rectangle from the brown construction paper.
- Attach the stem and leaf to the top of the red paper plate using glue.
- Decorate the apple with googly eyes, glitter, or stickers as desired.
Notes
For a cleaner finish, use a foam brush for painting. Adults should supervise children while using scissors and glue.
