Create beautiful decorative suncatchers using real flowers frozen in ice, perfect for brightening your home during winter.

Materials

  • Water
  • Flowers or leaves (like pansies or violets)
  • Baking dish or shallow container
  • String or ribbon
  • Cup or measuring jug

Instructions

  1. Prepare the container by selecting a suitable baking dish.
  2. Arrange the flowers or leaves in an attractive pattern inside the container.
  3. Pour water slowly over the flowers until fully submerged.
  4. Freeze the container for several hours or overnight until completely frozen.
  5. Remove the container from the freezer and let it thaw slightly.
  6. Unmold the suncatcher by carefully inverting the container.
  7. Add a piece of string or ribbon through the top for hanging.

Notes

Ensure flowers are arranged artistically and position the suncatcher where sunlight hits for the best effects.
