Description

A delightful beaded pipe cleaner snail craft that engages creativity and fine motor skills in children.

Materials

  • Pipe cleaners (various colors)
  • Beads (assortment of colors and sizes)
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the pipe cleaner to your desired length, about 20 inches.
  2. Create the snail’s shell by bending a separate piece of pipe cleaner into a spiral shape.
  3. Assemble the snail by slipping the spiral shell onto the cut pipe cleaner.
  4. Add beads onto the longer piece of the pipe cleaner for the snail’s body.
  5. Shape the head by creating a small loop at the end and add googly eyes if desired.

Notes

You can use different materials like wire or string. Encourage kids to personalize their snails with markers or stickers.
